There are three ways to divide the color glaze: First, it is classified according to the firing temperature, divided into high temperature color glaze (about 1300 degrees), medium temperature color glaze (about 1200 degrees) and low temperature color glaze (about 1000 degrees). The second is divided into oxidized flame color glaze and reduced flame color glaze according to the character of the fire after firing. The third is classified according to the appearance characteristics after firing, which can be divided into single-color glaze, multi-color glaze (flower glaze), cracked glaze, matt glaze, crystal glaze, etc.
The higher the temperature is, the less the color can be used, so the high temperature color glaze is generally in less color. And it will be rougher because once firing, but it is more durable and saves energy.
Medium-temperature color glaze has more colors to select, however the processing process is more complicated, so the price will be higher, the appearance looks more realistic, the durability is also great and the cost is relatively high.
